Day 1
When we first arrived, we got a little confused as to where to pick up our badges...One giant sign mentioned "complimentary passes," which is what I had, but my papers said Lobby D. We ended up going upstairs and then downstairs again until we finally found the hidden lobby for "Professional Registration" to get our badges. It was a relatively short line, and we got a giant Warner Bros. badge. Then I found one of my online friends and we headed down to the DreamWorks panel, which was all the way on the south corner of the convention center (a lot of walking). But we managed to get into this gigantic hall set up with chairs and 4 or 5 giant screens. We could hardly see the actual panel up in the front. It was pretty fun though...We got to see Jim Parsons who plays "Sheldon" in The Big Bang Theory and now voice-acting a starring role in DreamWorks' new movie Home. Then after him...John Malkovich and Benedict Cumberbatch (both new to Comic Con), who were also voice-acting in the new Penguins of Madagascar movie. And while sitting in on a random panel before a Hobbit fan-panel, George R.R. Martin showed up to talk about a new graphic novel series he's been doing (not related to Game of Thrones/ASoIaF series). So we ended up getting hit with a grand-slam of celebrities within our first day.
Day 2
Not the best day we had. I only managed to make it into the Legend of Korra panel in the morning, but missed out on the Game of Thrones panel, which was supposed to be my absolute #1 thing I wanted to see there. But thanks to the extremely long lines and people camping out in Hall H, hardly anyone got into it in time. Kelly unfortunately was 0 for all 3 of her panels that day. Since we suffered a rather disappointing day of panels, another friend took us over to the Nintendo Gaming Lounge for the rest of the afternoon, where I instantly fell in love with the new Hyrule Warriors game, after watching several others play demos on it.
Oh, and I watched some Godzilla-fans troll a Bible-thumper/religious preacher with a bullhorn while I waited in line for GoT...Other than that, it was a pretty disappointing day. So to cheer myself up, I got a Game of Thrones poster with Daenerys on it.
Day 3
With the major panels finally over, I wanted to try to get into The Boxtrolls panel...But I was badly mistaken. Once again, people hogged the Hall H all day because the Marvel Studios panel in the afternoon, preventing anyone else from getting in. So instead of having another terrible repeat of Friday, we ditched the line early and went back into the Exhibit Hall, where I found a booth selling handcrafted ceramic dragon-puppets that sat on your shoulders and moved. Being a gigantic sucker for dragon-things, I couldn't walk away from the booth without buying the most inexpensive dragon-puppet there~
Then we happened to run into a gigantic crowd around the Warner Bros booth, where Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, and Benedict Cumberbatch were doing live signings. We even got to see some other celebrities pass by us in the crowd! But then shortly afterwords, we decided to call it an early day and headed home, being sore of walking and getting squished by crowds.
Day 4
Best day there, aside from Thursday. With it being the last day, we decided to play the whole day by ear until the Buffy panel that Kelly wanted to see in the afternoon, so we wandered around the Exhibit Hall again to check if we missed anything worth seeing...And I'm so glad I did. Not only did I find a new pair of Earth earrings that were like the same ones I lost years ago, but I also got into an autograph-event with George R.R. Martin! I got to shake his hand, get a picture with him, and got a free signed copy of The Hedge Knight, his prequel graphic novel to Game of Thrones!
...Best way to end the last day of Comic Con, hands down. It made up for missing the GoT panel for sure. The only bad thing that happened Sunday was that my old Honda decided to finally have a major issue; it almost stranded us at the trolley station because the engine wouldn't start.

On the advice of a friend for getting commission requests, I made an FA account.
Seriously, I'm dying for commissions. Nobody's following my Patreon, nobody has requested any commissions from here... And I'm currently jobless. Again. And my parents are breathing down my neck to get a job.
I still has monies, but since I'm actually financially independent for the most part (except for room & board) and with my expenses occurring monthly (phone bill, car insurance, student loans, credit card), my monies are draining.
I thought I had a good chance to finally get into a small independent studio up north, where I could even start out working
Slowly moving over here.
Since the admins decided to take the claim of an ignoramus who thinks he's immune to criticism (it feels like they immediately took his claim as legit without actually looking into it)...
...I'm moving over here. Slowly, but surely. As long as I'm sure this account doesn't have a strike either. :smoking:
Only thing that cheered me up is that I found some cases similar to mine where courts actually granted in favor of the party claiming fair use.
And in other news, I'm still open to taking Paypal commissions. :dummy:
Commissions are OPEN!
I have a new job at Denny's as a hostess, but it's still not really enough to afford to move out, my bank account is still low, my credit card debt from New Zealand is starting to pile up, my student loan debt is still high, and Comic Con is 2 weeks away and I don't even really have enough spending monies. :saddummy: I can't even afford my belated birthday present! :nuu: (Which I do need because the game slot on my poor old 3DS is wearing out; it doesn't always read my games anymore.)
So I HAS STARTED COMMISSIONS AGAIN! ~loopydanceplz (https://www.deviantart.com/loopydanceplz)

Wow, haven't done an update here since January.
But yes. I'm home now. :dummy:
