EDIT: I have some good news. :dummy: After rereading the crew agreement, the work I'm doing will be flexible! :la: So if it seems to cut too much time into my Senior film or some other issue, I can negotiate to rearrange my working schedule around it. :happybounce:

So I'm going to go sign this agreement and send it off to them, and then I SHALL BE A REAL PROFESSIONAL ARTIST ON A REAL PRODUCTION TEAM IN THE INDUSTRY! :iconexciteddummyplz:

...Or no?

Here's my dilemma:

The production I was an intern on this summer is allowing me to be an official crew member, where I can be paid $20 an hour or more, depending on the position(s) I take/help with.

Pros:
• More "real world experience" on working on a real production crew in the industry.
• Paying gig; I won't be broke anymore for a while.
• Help in transitioning to the "real world" after graduation.
• Help in learning to be a professional in the Animation industry and making my own way.
• If I take a minor position that doesn't require a lot of time (transcribing interviews or helping in storyboard), I may still have time for my film.

Cons:
• Possible less time for my senior film and other classwork.
• If I don't take it, I'll be broke/unemployed again.
• No "real world"/industry experience.

Thoughts? Suggestions? I dunno what to do! :panic:

It's not exactly my dream job at Nickelodeon, but it's a REAL AND PAYING ANIMATION JOB and it may help me get my work out there even more and getting hired after graduation. So I want to take it, but at the same time, my gut is screaming "NOPE! IT'LL TAKE UP YOUR TIME FOR YOUR SCHOOLWORK AND FILM! :nuu:"

Two of your cons aren't cons for taking the opportunity. Take it.
