ALL OF MY FEELS. ALL OF THEM.
Excuse me while I go cry my heart out.
This is exactly why I've been fascinated by animation since I was little.
I've been immersed in this form of visual storytelling ever since then. I ate, slept, and breathed this stuff; I would replay my favorite movies over and over, and I still remember imitating dialogue from The Lion King with a friend in pre-school, squealing with laughter in my parents' room every time I watched Mushu pick up the giant statue's head and talk through it, and admire all of the iconic characters throughout history come out and gather together and sing at the end of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. (Nowadays, that scene brings me to tears every time because it's like the entire animation industry together as one big happy family.) By the time I was 6 years old, I made myself a persona and was attempting to draw comics with it. At that age, I could easily recognize the music of Looney Tunes or Pop-Eye or The Flintstones and I would come running from the other side of the house and plop down on the floor to watch. I was captivated about how they were made. They were just like the drawings I did, but they were moving and talking as if they were real. The ability to take creations from your head and make them come to life and move on the paper like that was dumbfounding. And with my daydreams always seemed to be in 2D animation, I wanted to make my drawings move like cartoons too. They're like my safety-blanket; when I just got home from getting into a car accident once and I was still rattled by it, I immediately turned the TV to cartoons while we waited for my parents to come back and within minutes of watching, I had calmed down. And after coming in from a stressful time in the studio and my roommate wasn't around, I would turn cartoons on to help me unwind and de-stress. Sometimes, just having them on in the background was enough to relax.
Growing up watching this stuff since I was very little, as far back as I can remember...It's no wonder my parents weren't that surprised when I told them I wanted to study animation. My fascination, childish passion, and the longing ambition to create my own stories through animation was strong then and now even stronger after 5 years of learning it. It's what drove me to pursue the career, and it's still driving me forward. I'm a true diehard fan of cartoons, and no matter how much people mock them as being "just for kids," my enthusiasm for them won't ever go away.

ANYWHO~
I did well on my midterm, despite my technical difficulties and breaking down into tears twice due to stress and lack of sleep for 2 nights straight.
Fur Affinity account
On the advice of a friend for getting commission requests, I made an FA account.
Seriously, I'm dying for commissions. Nobody's following my Patreon, nobody has requested any commissions from here... And I'm currently jobless. Again. And my parents are breathing down my neck to get a job.
I still has monies, but since I'm actually financially independent for the most part (except for room & board) and with my expenses occurring monthly (phone bill, car insurance, student loans, credit card), my monies are draining.
I thought I had a good chance to finally get into a small independent studio up north, where I could even start out working
Slowly moving over here.
Since the admins decided to take the claim of an ignoramus who thinks he's immune to criticism (it feels like they immediately took his claim as legit without actually looking into it)...
...I'm moving over here. Slowly, but surely. As long as I'm sure this account doesn't have a strike either. :smoking:
Only thing that cheered me up is that I found some cases similar to mine where courts actually granted in favor of the party claiming fair use.
And in other news, I'm still open to taking Paypal commissions. :dummy:
Commissions are OPEN!
I have a new job at Denny's as a hostess, but it's still not really enough to afford to move out, my bank account is still low, my credit card debt from New Zealand is starting to pile up, my student loan debt is still high, and Comic Con is 2 weeks away and I don't even really have enough spending monies. :saddummy: I can't even afford my belated birthday present! :nuu: (Which I do need because the game slot on my poor old 3DS is wearing out; it doesn't always read my games anymore.)
So I HAS STARTED COMMISSIONS AGAIN! ~loopydanceplz (https://www.deviantart.com/loopydanceplz)

Wow, haven't done an update here since January.
But yes. I'm home now. :dummy:
...I jumped out of a plane at 12,000 ft. And took a helicopter to go hike a glacier with actual spiky boots around Easter Sunday, got to pet a cute baby kiwi birdie, saw a cute wild penguin hiding in some bushes, saw some alpacas, learned a Maori song, saw the glorious Milford Sound and watched some dolphins swim next to the boat, did some wet ATV riding, visited Hobbiton and took some selfies in front of Bilbo's house, did a LoTR movie tour and re-enacted some scenes on site, hiked 12 miles through real-life "Mordor" around 3 active volcanoes for 7 hours straigh
